The first such investment made by SCH was AgMarket.
AgMarket is a digital marketplace, which offers a digital warehouse to the online shopper. This E-commerce platform focuses specifically on the farming community with a clear intention to, in time, give farmers access to all products and services needed for all farming practices.
An exciting development for our digital investments is the opportunity to partner with one of the world’s biggest Agricultural brands being John Deere. We are privileged to support John Deere and its Dealers with an e-commerce sales channel in South Africa.
Both the AgMarket and John Deere e-commerce platforms are well-supported by back office employees and systems, call center functionality and digital marketing.

Our STORY
In 2002 Chris Venter was inspired to write a business case study with the topic of enhancing and promoting Food Security globally and specifically in Africa. That initial case study eventually led to a vision of a global company which can assist in driving food certainty on the African continent, thus laying the groundwork for the establishment of SCH.
